Our Story
Born out of love of perfumes, Lela Bala started CUOR after seeing that designer perfumes are pricey and exclusive.
Furthermore, recently the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people's livelihoods as well as on the global economy. In the wake of the pandemic, countries are struggling with high unemployment and inflation leading to high cost of living.
At Cuor we believe that perfumes are a crucial part of personal care and should be "democratised" to ensure that perfumes are widely accessible to people at all income levels. To-date we have managed to deliver good quality generic perfumes inspired by brands from across the world at a more reasonable price i.e., R50 each, to many of our customers across South Africa.
